It's a great gift for a guy. It has historical references and comical illustrations. I bought this for my boyfriend because he has a thing for zombies. He said this was the best book anyone has ever given him and he read it in 2 days.
This book is detailed and well set out, with drawn images and ever recorded attacks. There is also information on symptoms, different types of zombies and the classes in which the outbreaks will occur in. If your up for a laugh, cant think of something to buy as a present for someone, or seriously paranoid, this book is for you. This book is highly recommended and should be regarded as important as any other disaster plan. It gives advice that range from weapon and combat techniques to ways to defend yourself whether your at home, on the run or stuck in a swamp.
That was "when".not "if".buy the book. It is great insight into what will need to be done when we have an apocalypse on our hands. Your life depends on it. Buy this book if you like zombies. Even if you only somewhat like zombies.
i found myself reviewing all the zombie movies I've seen and I think he did a great job covering all the bases (and proving movie characters really stupid). I enjoyed it but got tired of it quickly.
Despite the ridiculous subject matter, Brooks writes in a serious tone, which makes the book humorous in my opinion. This book is excellent for zombie fanatics everywhere. As stated in previous reviews, this book is dry but still manages to bring a few giggles.
